Design
The design direction focused on bold type, vibrant colors, and 3D balloon-like forms that feel both tactile and fun. I combined oversized typography with layered elements, like stars and overlapping text, to create a sense of visual rhythm and energy. The challenge was finding balance between clarity and experimentation—ensuring the core message stayed legible while still pushing creative boundaries.

Development
The project was executed using 3D design tools and digital typography integration. I played with shadows, lighting, and textures to achieve a realistic, almost sculptural look for the letters. By overlaying the 3D word on a flat typographic background, I built contrast between dimensionality and flatness, making the design stand out.

Problems & Solutions
One of the main challenges in this project was balancing readability with creativity, since 3D typography can easily lose clarity when layered over flat text. Another challenge was achieving the right look for the balloon-like letters—playful but not overly cartoony or artificial—which I solved by fine-tuning lighting, highlights, and reflections to create a polished yet fun aesthetic. Finally, the overall composition risked becoming visually overwhelming with oversized text, star elements, and multiple layers, so I used a restrained color palette and strategic negative space to maintain harmony and guide the viewer’s eye.
