Hey, I’m Mariko!
Hey, I’m Mariko!
My journey started when I got into photography back in 2018, and things kind of took off from there. Like, my work ended up in magazines, exhibitions, even competitions.But then I thought, “Wait... what if I could make the stuff I imagine — not just capture it?” That’s when I dove into design and illustration. One thing led to another, and now it’s not just a hobby — it’s what I do.
Well, technically Mariam... but everyone’s been calling me Mariko for so long, it just stuck.

I studied Media Arts at GIPA, and took some courses which gave me a solid base, but honestly? Most of the magic came from experimenting, messing up, and figuring it out along the way.
